Business Library
How businesses begin, grow, work—and endure
The Business Library is being built for people who work in and around organizations. It will bring together clear, worthwhile books from across the world: enduring ideas, practitioner experience, company histories, research, reporting, and stories from inside working life.
The library will explore:
- How markets, enterprise, and prosperity emerge
- How businesses find, understand, and keep customers
- How companies choose where to compete and how to endure
- How inventions become useful and spread
- How organizations, teams, and cultures get work done
- How people make decisions and exercise power at work
- How capital, ownership, and governance shape a company
- How operations, quality, and reliability are built
- How workers, suppliers, customers, and communities experience business
- How businesses change hands, fail, recover, or come to an end
The collection will be cosmopolitan and practical, drawing from large companies and small firms, established economies and emerging markets, founders and workers, customers and owners.
Growing. The shelves and selections are still being developed.
