  1. Two lovers write the triangle

Dimas, a writer, and Reuben, a scientist, are a gay couple who met as students in the United States and vowed to produce a joint masterpiece within ten years. Their story follows Ferré, a young executive (the Knight), who falls into an affair with Rana, a married journalist (the Princess). Diva, a model and high-priced escort (the Falling Star), moves through their lives and is revealed to operate Supernova, an anonymous online presence that answers people's questions.

  2. Crisis as bifurcation toward new order

The novel reads romantic and existential upheaval through chaos theory and systems far from equilibrium, where a small disturbance can push a system to a bifurcation point. From there the system either collapses or reorganizes into a more complex order. Seen this way, an affair or a breakdown is not simply damage to a stable life but a moment where a life's structure can be rebuilt.

  3. The oracle that returns the question

Supernova is an anonymous online voice people write to for answers about love, meaning and choice. Instead of giving comfort or instructions, it answers with provocations that throw the question back at the person asking. Its value comes from forcing people to see the assumptions behind their questions, not from supplying solutions.

  4. Observers and their creations are entangled

The novel draws on quantum physics, where the act of observation affects what is observed, and applies this to authorship. As Dimas and Reuben write their characters, the boundary between the authors' frame and the invented story weakens, suggesting that the storytellers and the story shape each other. Creating a narrative is presented as taking part in a reality, not merely describing it from outside.
