If God is all-powerful and all-good, the scale of undeserved suffering in the world, especially of the innocent, is hard to explain. Explanations such as karma, testing, or hidden purpose move the problem elsewhere rather than solving it, so honest reasoning cannot simply wave suffering away.
Goodness, kindness, and duty can come from human sympathy and shared life without depending on divine command or fear of punishment. A person who doubts God's existence can still live ethically, so doubt is not the same as moral collapse.
Take each traditional support for God, such as design in nature, the need for a first cause, scripture, and reported experience, and test it with ordinary common sense. Accept only as much as the evidence supports, and keep believing separate from wanting to believe.
