Exterminator Stranded in a Plague City
An unnamed pest-control company employee is transferred abroad to the company's head office in Country C for training, arriving in a capital buried in uncollected garbage and swept by a contagious disease. Quarantine, a language he can't speak, and a lost phone and documents cut him off from his company and his home. He learns he may be a suspect in his ex-wife's death back home, hides in a park among the homeless, and survives by catching and killing rats.
