  1. Becoming: Perpetual Upgrade as Default State

All technology now exists in a permanent state of becoming, where products are never finished but continuously updated, leaving everyone as a perpetual newbie who must constantly relearn. This means the discomfort of being a novice is no longer a phase to outgrow but the steady-state condition of modern life.

  2. Access Is Replacing Ownership

On-demand platforms make accessing assets in real time superior to owning them, because ownership carries maintenance, storage, and obsolescence costs while access delivers immediacy and the latest version. As dematerialization accelerates, possessing fewer physical things while subscribing to more services becomes the rational default.

  3. Cognification: Adding AI to Everything

The dominant business pattern of the era is taking some existing thing and adding cheap, networked intelligence to it — X plus AI. Because artificial intelligence will be delivered as a utility like electricity, the value lies not in inventing smarter AI but in applying ordinary AI to previously dumb domains.

  4. Mirrorworld and the Tracking Loop

As sensors and screens proliferate, everything that can be tracked will be tracked, creating massive flows of self-monitoring data. The productive response is symmetrical 'coveillance' — making surveillance transparent and mutual rather than fighting an unwinnable battle against tracking itself.

  5. Value Migrates to Curation and Findability

When copies become free and infinite, the copy itself loses value and worth shifts to qualities that cannot be copied — immediacy, personalization, authentication, embodiment, and findability. Whoever can filter, organize, and make sense of abundance captures the value that the abundant thing itself no longer holds.

  6. We Are at the Beginning, Not the End

Because the largest platforms and products of thirty years hence have not yet been invented, today is structurally the best moment to start something, not too late. The greatest opportunities lie in things that currently seem impossible or absurd, since established trends still have decades of compounding ahead.
