  1. DEAL: Definition, Elimination, Automation, Liberation

Restructure your life by first redefining success around freedom of time and mobility rather than money, then eliminating low-value tasks, automating income through delegation and systems, and finally liberating yourself from a fixed location. The steps are sequenced deliberately for employees versus entrepreneurs, but the logic always moves from redefining goals to removing yourself from the operation.

  2. Mini-retirements over deferred retirement

Instead of saving freedom for a single retirement at the end of life, distribute extended breaks of one to six months throughout your working years. This exploits the fact that time and energy for adventure are highest when young, and that cost of living abroad during these periods is often lower than staying home and working.

  3. The low-information diet

Deliberately ignore the vast majority of news, email, and incoming information because almost none of it is both important and actionable within your control. Cultivating selective ignorance frees attention and decision-making capacity for the few inputs that actually move outcomes.
