  1. The Effortless State as Prerequisite

Before attempting hard work, clear the mental clutter — release resentment, rest, and let go of outdated assumptions — to reach a state where focus comes naturally. The effortless state is achieved by removing what's draining you rather than adding more discipline or willpower.

  2. Find the Easier Path

When a task feels impossibly hard, the right response is to ask whether there's an easier way to achieve the same result, not to push harder. Often the obvious heavy approach is not the only one, and the simplest path that works is frequently the correct one rather than a shortcut to avoid.

  3. Residual Results Compound Without Effort

Some actions produce one-time linear results, while others create assets that keep delivering value after the work stops — like teaching someone to teach, or building a system that runs itself. Investing in these residual-result activities means a single effort continues paying dividends indefinitely.
